The Ohio Valley District of the East Ohio Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church was established on July 1, 2005. The Ohio Valley District is located in the Southeast edge of the State of Ohio, which is bordered on one side by the Ohio River. The terrain of the district is beautiful hills, steep valleys, winding roads, and full of nature's wildlife. The people who live in this wonderful district are caring, hardworking, family focused, community minded, mission oriented, and faithful individuals. The district mission is to train, support, challenge, and stretch both individuals and churches to be true disciples of Jesus Christ in a movement that never ends.
